Information We Collect from Other Sources.
We obtain information from third-party sources, such as information about you from payment processors, advertising networks, e-commerce platforms, social media providers, and data analytics providers. We may also obtain personal information from bike shops relating to the service of our products, particularly to manage our warranty programs.
Information We Derive.
We may derive information or draw inferences about you based on the information we collect. For example, we may make inferences about your location based on your IP address or infer that you may qualify for free shipping thresholds or are looking to purchase certain products based on your browsing behavior and past purchases.
We may also collect, use and disclose anonymized data such as statistical or demographic data for any purpose as permitted by applicable laws.
USE OF INFORMATION
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our Services, as described below:
• We use Identifiers, Billing Information, and Transactional Information to process transactions and returns, and send you related information, including confirmations, receipts, invoices, customer experience surveys, recall notices, and manage your warranty programs;
• We use Activity Information, Device and Usage Information, and Commercial Information to personalize and improve your experience on our Services, and to monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities in connection with our Services;
• We use Identifiers to send you technical notices, security alerts, and support and administrative messages, and to respond to your comments and questions and provide customer service;
• We use Identifiers and Commercial Information to communicate with you (by email or text messages) about products, services, and to provide and administer our loyalty program. Subject to your prior consent, we may also communicate information (by email or text messages) about events offered by Lectric eBikes and third-party partners, provide news and information that we think will interest you (see the Your Choices section below for information about how to opt out of these communications at any time);
• Where permitted by applicable law or subject to your prior consent, we use Activity Information, Device and Usage Information, and Information Collected by Cookies to personalize the advertisements you see on our Services and third-party platforms;
• Where permitted by applicable law or subject to your prior consent, we use Identifiers to facilitate contests, sweepstakes, and promotions and process and deliver entries and rewards;
• We use Identifiers, Device and Usage Information, and Activity Information to detect, investigate, and prevent security incidents and other malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity; to protect the rights and property of Lectric eBikes and others; and to debug, identify, and repair errors in our Services;
• We use personal information to comply with our legal and financial obligations, and to carry out any other purpose described to you at the time the information was collected.
DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION
We disclose personal information in the following ways:
• Payment processing: We disclose Billing Information to our third-party service provider who manage payment processing on our behalf. This service provider is not permitted to store, retain, or use Billing Information except for the sole purpose of payment processing on our behalf.
• Bike shops: We may disclose your personal information with local bike shops relating to the service of our products, and the management of our warranty programs.
• Third party service providers: We disclose personal information with vendors and service providers to the extent reasonably required for them to perform services for us, such as providers that assist us with:
o web hosting services,
o data storage services,
o ecommerce features and capabilities,
o shipping and delivery services,
o fraud prevention services,
o customer service, and
o marketing and advertising services.
• Public posting: If you submit a product review or post content in another public area of our Services, we disclose this information publicly on our Services.
• Group companies: From time to time, we may provide personal information to our subsidiaries and affiliates so that those entities may assist us in providing Services to you. Each of these entities will process information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
• Potential acquirers of our business: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale (each a “transaction”), some or all of personal information under our control may be disclosed or communicated for the purposes of evaluating or carrying out the transaction. In such a case, the other party will be instructed to handle the personal information in the same manner as provided in this Privacy Policy, and you will be notified to the extent required by applicable laws.

We may provide links to third-party websites, services, plug-ins and applications, such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, and X, that are not operated or controlled by Lectric eBikes. This Privacy Policy does not apply to such third-party services, and we are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of such third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services before providing any information to or through them.
The Services may offer social sharing features and other integrated tools (such as the Facebook “Like” or “Share” button, the X “Post” button, the Pinterest “pin” button, and the Instagram “Post” or “Story” feature) that enable you to share actions you take on our Services with other media. Your use of such features enables the sharing of information with your contacts or the public, depending on the settings you establish with the entity that provides the social sharing feature. TRANSFER OF INFORMATION TO OTHER COUNTRIES
Lectric eBikes is headquartered in the United States and our group companies and third-party service providers and partners may operate around the world. Accordingly, your personal information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside of Canada. If you live in Quebec, your personal data may be communicated to entities outside of Quebec. When we collect your personal information, such information may be processed in any of these countries, and accordingly, may be accessible to courts, law enforcement and national security authorities of those countries.

PROTECTION OF INFORMATION
Security
We use appropriate administrative, technical, organizational, and physical security measures to protect personal information against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, and alteration, and against unauthorized disclosure, communication and access. We use standard industry practices to protect personal information, including firewalls, SSL encryption, limiting storage of financial information to a PCI compliant third party provider, system redundancies, and co-location in a 24/7 secured, controlled environment.
We have procedures in place to address any suspected privacy breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach as required by law.
Data Retention
We retain personal information we collect from you where we have an ongoing legitimate business need to do so (for example, to provide you with the Services you have requested, to comply with applicable legal, contractual, tax or accounting requirements, or to defend ourselves from possible legal actions). When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will destroy it or anonymize it in accordance with applicable laws.
