In Episode 04 of the XP4 Design Series, we’re breaking down how our team reimagined the display and riding modes to make your experience more turnkey than ever. From a sleek new look to easy-to-understand functionality, this display does more than show your speed – it elevates your whole ride.
How XP4 Riding Modes Work
- As you pedal, your effort is measured by a built-in torque sensor.
- The torque sensor talks to the controller and communicates how hard you're pedaling.
- The controller translates this to the motor. More effort = More power.
- The motor responds, giving you a smooth, natural boost unique to your selected riding mode.
Which Mode Should You Use?
- ECO and TOUR
- Great for cruising with a bit of motor assist and gives you the feeling of a classic bike ride. You will also get more miles per battery charge.
- SPORT+ and TURBO
- Want to go faster with less effort? These are your go-to modes for max assist.
