Short story: Sam and I met in 1971 when he came home on leave from Vietnam and within 3 months we were married. The day after our wedding, in his brother's living room, he found out he had to leave Indiana for Ethiopia!
3 months later, I got to go there – I was just hoping I remembered what he looked like! 53 years later, after about a year's worth of research on electric bikes, we bought 2 Lectric Trikes and I am still following him around the world and loving them!
We have taken picnics, ridden in Florida's state parks, taken a Sunday afternoon to connect with nature and to connect with each other – best purchase we have ever made! That is our love story.

When our son visits us, he and I go eBiking together. What better way to spend New Year's Eve than a ride in a National Park? My wife and I took our Lectric bikes to Point Reyes National Seashore and rode the Bear Valley trail through a beautiful forest. The weather was crisp but manageable. We came across many groups hiking to the coast for the night. It was a wonderful New Year's Eve!

Riding through the mountains of Colorado on a Lectric eBike was an unforgettable experience. My best friend and I set out early one crisp morning, our bikes fully charged and ready for adventure. My golden retriever, Rocky, sat comfortably in a specially designed trailer, ears flapping in the cool breeze as we climbed higher into the Rockies.
The trail was breathtaking—pine trees towering above, the scent of fresh earth, and glimpses of snow-capped peaks in the distance. With the eBike’s pedal assist, we powered up the steep inclines effortlessly, laughing as we raced each other to the next bend. At one point, we stopped at a scenic overlook where the valley stretched out below us, bathed in golden sunlight.
Rocky hopped out, nose to the wind, taking in the mountain air. We sat there for a while, sipping coffee from our thermos, just soaking in the beauty of it all. It was one of those moments that felt timeless—just us, the mountains, and the open trail ahead.

For my 70th birthday, last July, my husband treated me to an RV trip to Margaritaville RV Resorts at Lake Lanier Island, GA. We took our ebikes and rode around the beautiful park each day. The weather was perfect. I am thoroughly enjoying my ebike. It's been a great investment for my health, and we get to spend time together as a bonus. We've been married for 38 years and plan to ride our bikes as long as possible.

My two special little riding partners Charlie and Teddy love to ride in the Lectric Wag-Along pet carrier. So much so that when Teddy (brown puppy) gets so excited he tries to get in it by himself. One of the most unforgettable moments my wife and I shared on our Lectric eBikes was a spontaneous sunset ride along the coast. It wasn’t planned—those always seem to be the best adventures—but as we wrapped up a busy week, she looked at me and said, “Let’s go for a ride.”
Within minutes, we were cruising down the bike path, the ocean breeze in our faces and the hum of our eBikes blending with the sound of the waves. We rode side by side, chatting about everything and nothing, appreciating the quiet escape from our usual routines. Every now and then, we’d slow down just to take it all in: the fiery colors of the sky, the rhythmic crashing of the waves, and the simple joy of being together.

I recently bought my Lectric Expedition in order to be able to start bike riding as a family of 4. The Expedition allows me to haul our 2 kids which allows my husband and I to finally ride our bikes again. (We used to ride on various bike trails before we had our children.) My husband doesn’t have an eBike yet (he does love to borrow mine 💕), but he’s able to keep up with me in pass 1. Riding our bikes together is a way we connect with each other by exploring new locations and by making family memories. Thats the main reason i bought a Lectric Expedition, to get my family closer together by making one of a kind memories together. A family who explores together, stays together!
