Three generations. Four years of innovation. One seriously good value.

When we introduced the original XP Lite in 2022, the goal was simple: make eBike ownership more accessible with a ride that was lightweight, easy to store, and easy on the wallet.

Since then, we've continued to build on that formula. The XP Lite2 brought meaningful upgrades to power delivery, braking, and everyday comfort. Now, the all-new XP Lite3 takes things even further with premium features like hydraulic brakes, an advanced color TFT display, integrated turn signals, and an optional Gates Carbon Belt Drive.

The best part? The XP Lite still starts at just $799.

That's right. Even as we've added more technology, improved the riding experience, and introduced features typically associated with more expensive eBikes, we've kept the entry price exactly where it started.

Let's take a look at how the XP Lite has evolved and what makes the XP Lite3 our most feature-packed version yet.

From the XP Lite1 to the XP Lite3: A Lot Has Changed

The original XP Lite earned its place as an approachable, portable eBike by keeping things simple. It delivered a lightweight folding design, five levels of speed-based pedal assist, and a 300W hub motor at a price that made getting started with eBikes easier.

The XP Lite2 built on that foundation with Lectric PWR™ pedal assist, a more powerful peak output, hydraulic disc brakes, a color display, and the option to choose a Gates Carbon Belt Drive instead of a traditional chain.

With the XP Lite3, we're bringing even more of those premium features together in one compact package. Riders get an upgraded color TFT display, refined assist modes, integrated turn signals, enhanced lighting, improved cockpit controls, and upgraded quick-release pedals.

And through every generation, the mission has stayed the same: deliver more ride for your money.

1. A Smarter, More Refined Ride with Lectric PWR™

The XP Lite's power delivery has come a long way since the original model.

The XP Lite1 used five levels of speed-based pedal assist. With the XP Lite , we introduced Lectric PWR™, a power-based pedal-assist system designed to deliver a more natural riding experience.

The XP Lite3 takes that technology further with five distinct riding modes: Eco, Tour, Sport, Sport+, and Turbo.

Each mode gives riders another way to tailor their ride to the conditions and the experience they want. Looking to stretch your battery farther? Eco gives you a more efficiency-focused option. Want a more responsive ride? Sport+ and Turbo let you access higher levels of assistance.

The XP Lite3 also retains its quiet 300W hub motor with 819W peak output, giving riders capable assistance in a compact package.

More control over your ride. More ways to make it your own. All at the same starting price.

2. Hydraulic Brakes: A Major Upgrade in Stopping Power

Brakes might not be the first feature you think about when shopping for an eBike, but they're one of the most important parts of the riding experience.

The original XP Lite came equipped with mechanical disc brakes. The XP Lite2 upgraded to hydraulic disc brakes, bringing improved braking performance to the lineup.

The XP Lite3 takes that foundation further with Star Union 602 hydraulic disc brakes paired with large 180mm rotors.

Hydraulic systems use fluid to transfer force from the brake lever to the caliper, helping deliver responsive braking with less effort at the lever. Combined with the XP Lite3's upgraded braking components, the result is a more refined braking setup designed to give riders greater confidence when it's time to slow down.

It's a substantial hardware upgrade on an eBike that still starts at $799.

3. The Optional Gates Carbon Belt Drive: Say Goodbye to Chain Grease

Traditional chains have been a standard part of bicycle design for generations. But they're not the only option anymore.

Starting with the XP Lite2, riders could choose a Gates Carbon Belt Drive in place of the traditional chain. That option continues with the XP Lite3, giving riders another way to customize their eBike to fit their preferences with the JW Black and Ballerina Pink models.

The belt drive uses a carbon fiber-reinforced belt rather than a conventional metal chain. That means no chain grease, less routine drivetrain maintenance, and a clean, quiet riding experience.

It's especially appealing for riders who want to keep their eBike maintenance simple or prefer not to deal with greasy chains on their clothes.

The XP Lite3 keeps that flexibility intact, with chain and belt-drive configurations available.

A cleaner drivetrain. A quieter ride. Less time spent on chain maintenance.

4. A Color TFT Display That Puts More Information at Your Fingertips

The XP Lite's display has evolved alongside its riding technology.

The original XP Lite featured a monochrome LCD. The XP Lite2 introduced a color LCD with a USB-A port. Now, the XP Lite3 steps things up with a high-resolution color TFT display featuring advanced rider modes and a USB-C port.

Beyond a more modern look, the display offers additional ride information, including cadence, trip distance, motor wattage, amps, and voltage.

The detachable design adds another thoughtful touch, while the upgraded interface gives riders a clearer view of the information that matters to them.

It's a more advanced cockpit that makes it easier to keep tabs on your ride without overcomplicating the experience.

5. Integrated Turn Signals and Enhanced Safety Lighting

Lighting has always been part of the XP Lite's design, but the XP Lite3 brings a significant upgrade to how riders communicate on the road.

Earlier generations featured standard front and rear safety lights. The XP Lite3 adds side amber indicator lights to the front headlight and a rear brake light with integrated turn signals.

These upgrades give riders more ways to make their presence and intended movements visible to others.

The handlebar control pad also features dedicated turn controls, putting those functions within easy reach.

It's a practical improvement for everyday riding, particularly for commuters and anyone navigating streets where visibility and clear communication matter.

6. A Better Cockpit, From the Handlebars to the Pedals

Small details can make a big difference in how an eBike feels to ride, and the XP Lite3 brings several thoughtful improvements to the rider's setup.

The XP Lite2 introduced BMX-inspired handlebars with a 60mm rise. The XP Lite3 builds on that design with a telescoping four-bolt clamp BMX stem and lock-on grips.

The result is an updated cockpit designed to provide a more secure, refined feel.

The pedals have also received an upgrade. While the XP Lite introduced folding pedals to support its portable design, and the XP Lite2 continued with that approach, the XP Lite3 features high-quality quick-release pedals like those used on the XP4.

These pedals make it easier to prepare the bike for compact storage by removing them quickly when needed.

Together with the folding frame and compact design, these details help keep portability at the center of the XP Lite experience.

7. More Range, With Long-Range Options Available

A lightweight eBike is great. A lightweight eBike that can take you farther is even better.

The original XP Lite offered an estimated range of up to 40 miles. The XP Lite2 increased that figure to up to 45 miles with the standard battery, with a long-range option offering up to 80 miles.

The XP Lite3 continues that approach, offering standard and long-range battery configurations with estimated ranges of up to 45 miles and 80 miles, respectively.

Actual range depends on factors such as rider weight, terrain, weather, assist level, and riding conditions, but the available battery options let riders choose a setup that better matches their needs.

Whether you're using your eBike for everyday errands, commuting, or longer recreational rides, the XP Lite3 gives you flexibility without sacrificing the lightweight design that helped make the lineup popular in the first place.

8. Lightweight, Foldable, and Ready for Everyday Life

One of the XP Lite's defining characteristics has always been its portability. That hasn't changed.

The XP Lite3 weighs approximately 41 pounds without the battery and 49 pounds with the battery. Its folding design, compact stem, and quick-release pedals make it easier to store in smaller spaces or transport in a vehicle.

That makes it a practical fit for a wide range of riders, including apartment dwellers, college students, RV owners, and commuters looking for a compact transportation option.

The XP Lite3 also features sliding vertical dropouts, building on the frame design introduced with the XP Lite2.

Its 20-inch wheels and smooth street-tread tires are designed for paved roads, making it well suited to everyday transportation and recreational rides.

It's a reminder that adding features doesn't have to mean abandoning the qualities that made the original bike so appealing.

9. All These Upgrades. Still Starting at $799.

Here's where the XP Lite's evolution really stands out.

Since the original model launched in 2022, the XP Lite has added major improvements across its braking system, display technology, pedal assist, lighting, drivetrain options, and rider controls.

And the starting price hasn't moved.

That matters because accessibility has always been central to what we're building at Lectric. We believe more people should have the opportunity to experience the freedom and convenience of riding an eBike without having to stretch their budget to get there.

Holding the XP Lite's starting price at $799 while continuing to invest in meaningful product improvements reflects that commitment.

The XP Lite3 delivers features like hydraulic brakes, an advanced color TFT display, integrated turn signals, and an optional Gates Carbon Belt Drive while maintaining the same entry price as the original.

That's not just an updated model. It's a better-equipped eBike at the same starting price.

The XP Lite3: The Best Version Yet

The XP Lite started with a straightforward idea: make eBikes more accessible by keeping them lightweight, portable, and affordable.

Three generations later, that idea is still driving the product forward.

The XP Lite3 brings together the qualities riders loved about the original with a much more advanced feature set. From its hydraulic braking system and color TFT display to its integrated turn signals, five riding modes, and optional belt drive, it's built to deliver more capability without losing sight of what matters most.

And with a starting price of just $799, getting into eBiking remains as accessible as ever.

More features. More refinement. More value. Same $799 starting price.
