The long-range battery is no joke. Seems to discharge much slower than the standard battery and does offer considerably better range. Takes about 60 minutes longer to charge to full.
Worth the investment, especially if you don't want to carry a spare everywhere!

In practice on hilly streets, it overheats quick on the xp 2.0 lite. But in ideal conditions it has great range.
