Lectric started with one simple idea between a son and his dad. An idea that grew when two childhood friends— bonded by hours of video games, Lord of the Rings, and a shared love of play—asked themselves, “What if we could build an eBike with our favorite gear that’s way more affordable?” So they built it. For Levi’s dad. For everyone. Because playful freedom and the magic of simple joys—like a ride through your neighborhood—should never be out of reach.
Our approach today is straightforward: inspire people everywhere to reconnect with play, adventure, and the simple thrill of riding. And while we’re proud to lead the nation in eBike sales, what really excites us is seeing how Lectric brings laughter, sparks adventures, and genuinely improves lives. The Founders
While Levi and Robby have built the best-selling eBike in America, at the end of the day they are just two dudes obsessed with making awesome bikes. They love to stop a meeting so they can go out for a ride. They are still asking big questions. Still chasing ideas that make life a lot more fun. Their friendship and shared curiosity are what gave Lectric its initial spark—and that same playful energy continues to power everything we build today. They’re the reason Lectric hits different. Because it is.
