  • All Lectric eBikes come with a 48V lithium-ion battery. Spare batteries can be purchased as a backup to, or a replacement for, the original battery.
  • Batteries simply slide into the bottom of the eBike frame and are easily installed and removed.
  • Most batteries can be charged in 4-7 hours using 2A amperage.
  • Spare batteries will arrive in a separate package.

NOTE: Riders should become familiar with their average battery use based on typical weight load, terrain, weather, and other conditions.

    Long range 14Ah spare battery!!

    Great battery!! It has reliably taking me 33 miles in one trip and I plan on combining both of them to go even further thank you!!

    Long-Range Spare Battey Relieves Range Anexiety!

    I've been doing a lot of 25-35 mile rides in Colorado Springs, which worked fine during the summer, but I've noticed that 25 miles is pushing it in cold weather. Having a spare battery is the cure to that problem and lets me expand my range further.

    On the other hand, I noticed right off that the new battery does not have the reassuring green LED that flashes while charging that my old battery does. It took a service call to find out not all batteries behave the same.

    I now need to find a secure way to carry the spare battery, it is NOT secure in the lightweight water-resistant panniers and the waterproof ones are HUGE. It would be nice for Lectric to come out with a battery case that bolted to the rear rack.

    Spare Battery

    It was on sale when I bought the bike, so I picked one up for extended rides.

    There’s really not much to say at this point, but if it’s as quality made as the XPress 750, a 5 star it is.

    One note. The battery goes to sleep after 48 hours of none use. To wake it up, merely hold the button under the head of the battery for 3 seconds. You’ll also see the charge level indicated on the LED.
