On November 19th, 2024, Lectric eBikes released it's long awaited redesign to the ever capable XPeak eMTB, The XPeak 2.0. In this entry of our design series, Matt, Robby, and Levi sit down to discuss some of the key differences between the two generations, and the reasons behind the remaster.
Key Features of the XPeak 2.0
- Torque Sensor: Paired with Lectric's PWR+ programing for an elevated pedaling experience.
- 20Ah of Battery Life: Available with up to 20Ah of battery life for 80 miles of range.
- Color LCD Display: Upgraded with a cleaner, more colorful display featuring a USB-C port.
- Hydro-formed Frame: A sleek and seamless frame, providing 330 lbs. of payload capacity and meeting the same ISO 4120-10 eMTB testing standard,
- 203mm Front Disc Brake: Larger front rotor for better braking performance and heat dissipation.
- 8-Speed Shimano Altus: 11-32 tooth, 8-speed freewheel paired the the trigger actuated Shimano Altus derailleur.
