What began as a bold adventure across America quickly became one of the most inspiring charitable movements we’ve ever witnessed. As the sun sets on viral Youtuber Ryan Trahan's extraordinary 50 States in 50 Days series in support of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the team at Lectric eBikes is reflecting with full hearts and immense gratitude.

We’re celebrating not just the completion of an epic journey, but the power of generosity, storytelling, and community. We’re deeply honored to have played even a small part in what will surely go down as a defining cultural moment in creator-led philanthropy.

50 States in 50 Days?

In case you missed the recent YouTube series, Ryan Trahan and his wife, Haley, set out to visit all 50 U.S. states in just 50 days, staying in the coolest Airbnb each state had to offer every night, all while documenting the highs, lows, and hilarity of their daily adventures. But this was more than just a travel challenge with unique twists and turns along the way—it was a fundraiser for one of the most respected nonprofits in the world: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

The original goal? Raise $1 million.

The final result? Over $11 million raised to support lifesaving research and care to families with children battling cancer and other life-threatening diseases—all at no cost to them.

Each episode brought a new story, new supporters, and a new chance to rally together. Every donation, from $5 to $500,000, brought us closer to hope. And we were humbled to see how that hope inspired a ripple effect of giving across the country.

Lectric's Role: Riding Along for the Journey

As soon as we saw the start of their series, we knew they had the ability to positively impact so many lives, and we’re grateful to have played even a small part in this effort.

As longtime admirers of St. Jude’s mission and believers in grassroots generosity, the Lectric team extended a $100,000 donation on day 2 of the series.

When Ryan and Haley made their stop in Arizona on day 3, Lectric co-founders, Levi Conlow and Robby Deziel, met them in person. They gifted Ryan a Lectric eBike and made a simple pledge: we’ll donate $10,000 for every day he chooses to ride the Lectric during the remainder of the trip.

And boy, did he ride.

Ryan took this challenge seriously and embarked on 46 days of riding his new Lectric eBike, bringing in an additional $460,000 in donations for St. Jude. The eBike even proved to be especially helpful on days 26 and 40 when Ryan and Haley were challenged with “The Split” and had to take alternate modes of transportation to arrive at their destinations.

Later in the series, when the crew arrived in our co-founders’ home state of Minnesota, we added another $50,000 donation in honor of our roots.

In total, the team at Lectric donated $610,000 by the end of the 50 States in 50 Days journey. That number isn’t just a milestone—it’s a statement of our belief in the mission of St. Jude and in the power of community to create real impact.

The Why Behind the Ride

It would be easy to focus on the numbers. But to us, this has never been about dollar signs. It’s about the children, families, and futures that benefit from these efforts. As our cofounders said during the campaign:

“St. Jude is one of the most remarkable organizations out there, and we’re proud to support their mission. This donation isn’t just a gift; it’s an investment in saving lives, empowering families, and pushing life-saving research forward. We truly believe this will be the most meaningful money we will put to work all year.”

At Lectric, our mission has always extended beyond our four walls. We believe in building better futures, uplifting communities, and solving real-world problems through innovative and accessible transportation. But above all, we believe in showing up for others in our community.

The 50 States in 50 Days campaign was an opportunity to put that belief into motion—literally.

Giving Is Who We Are

Long before this campaign, Lectric has made charitable giving a core part of how we operate.

We do these things not for headlines, but because they reflect what we value: freedom, accessibility, community, and human dignity.

Supporting St. Jude was a natural extension of those values.

A Movement Fueled by You

What made this campaign truly special wasn’t just the dollars raised—it was how it brought people together. Millions tuned in. Hundreds of thousands donated. And thousands more helped spread the word.

We saw people dig deep, give what they could, and encourage others to do the same. For our team, this reminded us that generosity is contagious, and that sometimes all it takes to spark a movement is a good story told with heart.

Ryan and Haley did that. And they did it brilliantly.

Our Gratitude

To Ryan and Haley: thank you for inspiring us and so many others. You brought light, joy, and purpose into this journey, and we were honored to support you along the way.

To our community of Lectric riders: thank you for supporting a brand that strives to do more. Whether you own one of our bikes or simply shared a video, your voice helped push this mission forward.

To the team at St. Jude: thank you for being the kind of organization that makes the world a better place every single day. We are proud to support you now and in the future.
