Gates Carbon Drive App
The Gates app is used to measure belt tension sonically. The belt can be plucked like a guitar string while the app uses the microphone on a mobile device to read the vibration frequency and compares it to a chart to determine if any adjustments are needed.

Find any other brand of E bike with the technology, quality and price point of Lectric's One and I will buy it for you. That was my challenge and promise to a friend looking for a higher end E bike. After exhaustive research--which he and I both enjoy doing--he finally gave up and ordered the Lectric One last week.
I've put lots of miles on my new One in the few short weeks I've had it. Including some challenging rides. Yesterday, for example, I rode from my home atop Lookout Mt down into Golden, Colorado via Lookout Mt Rd, a steep drop in elevation of 3,000 feet in barely several miles. The hydraulic disc brakes were amazing, just like the stable and secire feel of the bike rounding those hairpin curves.
After riding some beautiful bike trails along Clear Creek near Golden, I headed back up Lookout Mt Rd, this 76 year old man passing many young but serious traditional bike riders who use that steep, winding road to prepare for bike races. And yes, I made it home with battery to spare. And also butt comfort to spare thanks to Lectric's optional Comfort Seat. The large color screen, attractive and easy to read in all conditions, tells your remaining battery voltage (more accurate than mere battery bars). And several other metrics, too, like current draw, elapsed time, a trip meter in addition to an odometer, PAS level and of course the usual metrics like your speed. A throttle in addition to PAS and the ability to quickly and easily convert to a Level 3 bike is icing…

I only have 36 miles so far on my bike. For my first e-bike, there was a small learning curve but I love how much faster I can go with the same amount of exertion I would have used on my regular bike. My favorite features are the automatic shifting into my desired starting speed after I stop & the belt drive system being virtually maintenance free! (Maintenance Free Sold Me! Lol) I also like the lighter weight, as it allows me to lift it myself into the backseat of my truck so I can take it camping. Oh and the multiple ways the handlebars can be adjusted for a great ride, is really appreciated! (Female, 65)

I love this EBike. I've put over 120 mi in less than 4 weeks and the Pinion system makes it so easy to change gears on the fly. I have the long range battery and get 30 + mi on a trip on the Olentangy trail in Columbus at speeds of 15 - 20 mph.
There's so many things to love about the ONE.
NO Chain , grease !!! on your pants ect.
The throttle is on the left side handlebar, and it's so much safer. Then the quarter throttle on the right hand side on other e bikes. I've had people stop and talk to me for over an hour and they just love the over all look. I also own the XPEDITION. No car!
I'm 67 years young.
